God is still speaking…
in our world today, through scripture, through history, through preaching, through science, through community life, through teaching, through prayer, through music and through personal witness. Our challenge is to discern what God is saying and how we respond.
As people rooted in the way of Christ, we commit ourselves to being genuinely welcoming, hospitable and faithful. We strive to develop authentic relationships with one another and with God.
We are a Christ-centered, Bible-inspired, servant body of believers. No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.
New Lenten Worship Service
This Lent we will embark on a new Wednesday Evening worship experience. Rather than the familiar Holden Evening Prayer Service, we will be trying a new service from Holden Village called “Prayer Around the Cross.” Join us for this brief 30-minute worship service which will be held in our Fellowship Hall at 6:30 pm. We will gather around a handmade cross for a simple time of prayer, song, and scripture. We will light candles so that the cross will literally shine in the darkness of both the Lenten and winter seasons. Please come! This will be a wonderful, renewing time of worship.
