God is still speaking…
in our world today, through scripture, through history, through preaching, through science, through community life, through teaching, through prayer, through music and through personal witness. Our challenge is to discern what God is saying and how we respond.
As people rooted in the way of Christ, we commit ourselves to being genuinely welcoming, hospitable and faithful. We strive to develop authentic relationships with one another and with God.
We are a Christ-centered, Bible-inspired, servant body of believers. No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.

CHORD SMASH! Barbershop Quartet Fundraising Dinner and Concert
On Wednesday evening, June 29th, CHORD SMASH!, a local barbershop quartet, will be holding an evening fundraising event that will include a dinner at 6:00 pm and a concert at 7:00 pm. The event will be held at First Congregational United Church of Christ in River Falls, Wisconsin. Suggested donation for the dinner is $5 for adults and $3 for kids, with a max of $20 per family. The concert is free, and a free will offering will be taken.
CHORD SMASH! was formed just over a year ago, and has won many awards in their short time together. Most recently, the quartet qualified for the International Barbershop Harmony Society Quartet Competition, which will be held in Nashville, Tennessee from July 3rd – 10th. The quartet is holding this event to help offset costs for the competition, and will be donating a portion of the proceeds back to the “Music at First Church” concert series, which is run through First Congregational United Church of Christ of River Falls, WI.
If you are planning to attend the dinner, please either sign up at First Congregational Church with the amount of guests you will be bringing, or email music coordinator Scott Perau at firstname.lastname@example.org with the amount of people you will be bringing to the dinner. No reservations are needed for the concert. Please come and enjoy a fun night of fellowship, tacos, and great music!
